I know that people have said they closed deals, and I believe I have been close, but are there any success stories people can share with us? Im a little scarred because I have put so much time and no return is happening yet. I know I need to try harder, but any suggestions.

Please let me know any tricks that have worked for you or anything at all to give me something to get closer to victory here. I like this forum and blog, but I wanted to hear from other readers.

Some aspects to have success:
1) you should be direct to the Investor and they should know the "rules of the road" for trading.
2) you should be direct to the program manager and have personal contact to him.

If you deal over a chain of brokers and don't know the both ends, you will never have success. Concentrate on cash clients, only cash funds bring success today. Follow the rule: everything ,what is offered for funds <10M$ should be proven and to be explained how it works!! If you get no proper description about the way the program runs, better forget it before you burn your contacts!

Took me 5 years to find real people.

I went from Gold, to Oil, to all kinds of things -- After about 2 years trying to close on an instrument, I found a geniune compliance officer who works directly with a trader.

These guys are the only ones who seem to have a track record that proves their ability to perform...

I'm not going to discuss what these guys have done..but they are definately performers... taking assets, cash and instruments to trade..
