From what I am reading, it doesnt seem that bank instrument leasing is our best route. If you get any info or have any success let me know and I will invest too

Thanks, Danny

We use sblc for crude oil deal, but do not think it work for ppp. I have met people who say it work but they are all brokers.

Usually not or better to say no., Posted 02-20-2010, 07:42 PM #6 (permalink)
Under circumstances being involved in an international transaction and the other party offers a SBLC or BG issued by a bank which is unacceptable for you/your bank. One could accept such a SBLC or BG and in order to stay in business enter into a switch trade often in combination with countertrade and/or barter, a very specialized business. This is usually the case when you have to deal with non-convertible currencies and collaterals difficult to transfer outside the jurisdiction.

Professional advise is absolutely a must for all parties (sometimes quit a number) involved, the transactions must be transparent, well documented (documents duly executed etc.), and comply with the law of the respective jurisdictions.

If you have no collateral and/or a guarantor (who’s at risk when something goes wrong) it makes no sense to lease.

One could lease being a member or belonging to the same group of companies.

I have no knowledge of specialized trading firms advertising or promoting financial instruments for lease at the internet.

DB.

What do you mean with: "We are direct to a trader facilitator who will explain how this works." And further, I have no intention to enter into a discussion whatsoever with whomever offering this type of transactions.
